CPN-Maoist (centre) padlocked the municipal office on September 19, demanding reinstatement after Hemanta Bohra, Municipal Information Technology Officer, was suspended.  Maoist Center Municipal in-charge Dharmajit Bohra claimed that  Hemanta Bohra was suspended due to the political bias of the deputy mayor, Chandra Kumari Budha. The padlocked has pushed the locals in a crisis after all the services provided by the ward office has stopped. The CPN-Maoist cadres released the statement stating that if Hemanta Bohra is not reinstated and the action against Administrative officer is not taken, the cadres would continue to protest .
