The District Police Office Saptari has registered a complaint against Rasid Miah, 29, Mustak Miah, 28, Najan Miah, 27, and Gaffar Miah, 28, of Rajbiraj Municipality-8 on October 4 on the charge of abducting 23-year-old Ajaya Kumar Das of Rajbiraj Municipality-1 Padariya.
The victim had lodged a complaint at the District Police Office on October 3 alleging that the accused had surrounded her on the way to Gulab Garage on Kanchanrup Road on September 28. With the complaint, the victim has submitted a video to the police as evidence that the accused tied a rope to the bamboo legs and beat him while pouring water. According to the victim, they covered his mouth with a Gamcha and took him hostage on a chicken farm located at a distance of 300 meters.
The victim stated to the police that, he managed to escape by using force from the hands of the accused and informed the police. The victim has been treated at Gajendra Narayan Singh Hospital in Rajbiraj on October 27. DSP Madhav Prasad Kafle said that search for the accused was underway.
