Students of the Bara Pachrauta municipality area staged a demonstration after their studies were affected due to the lack of subject teachers in school. Students vandalized the school office and municipal office by locking the teachers in the staff room, they also picketed the municipal office. The students clashed with the police when police were trying to control the situation. Some students were injured from the batons charged by police. Local students and parents have accused the municipality of deliberately charging batons at the students.
The agitated students have demanded that they needed to appoint subject teachers, conduct regular classes, appointing a school management committee as well. Dil Nath Sahani, Ward Chairman of Pacharauta Municipality-7, has alleged that Pramod Yadav, Education Branch Coordinator and Ramesh Yadav, Mayor of Pacharauta Municipality have been arbitrarily in the process of matching, filling and appointing teachers in Pacharauta Municipality. Naresh Kumar Yadav, mayor of Pacharauta municipality claimed that the municipality has not interfered in the management of the school and while assisting the school, some people have vandalized the school by making it a political issue.
According to the municipality, the vandalism has destructed about Rs. 1,50,000 and laptops, computers and other items have been stolen from the municipality and the work of the municipality has come to a complete standstill.
