Nepal Student Union (NSU), a sister organization of Nepali Congress staged a demonstration in Dhadingbesi against the rise in prices of petroleum products, gas, transport and daily necessities and the increase black marketing. The demonstrators demanded to withdraw the price hike. Leaders of the Union said that they have been forced to take to the streets as the government led by the NC president has continued the price hike. Ishwor Adhikari, former president of the Nepal Students' Union, Dhading, said that the protest was staged as the government continued to increase prices and added pain to the people.
