Law practitioners staged a demonstration in Tanahu demanding the resignation of Cholendra Samsher Jabara, Chief Justice in front of the District Court in headquarters. The demonstrators staged a demonstration against the Judiciary's distortion, inconsistency and corruption on November 14, from 10 am till 11 am. 

The law practitioners staged a sit-in with black bandages on their hands demanding the resignation of the controversial Chief Justice saying that he could not uphold the dignity of the judiciary. Demonstration was organized by Bar Association Tanahun's president Bhanubhakta Subedi, former DL central president Yadunath Khanal, senior advocate Kamala Mohan Wagle and others.
