One person was killed in a gang fight between youths in Morang. 26-year-old Reason Dahal of Pakhribas in Dhankuta was killed in a gang fight between two groups on November 14 in Koyalpur of Budhiganga Rural Municipality-6 of Morang district. Dahal used to live in a rented place in Itahari Sub-metroplis 13.
Dahal had gone home on the night of November 14 to celebrate the birthday of his friend Nanu Limbu's niece's birthday party at Badhiganga-6. Dahal had a dispute with a group of six or seven people including 23-year-old Dhan Bahadur Tamang, 24-year-old Likhman Limbu of Budhiganag-6, 22-year-old Raju Tamang of Sunsari Itahari-11.
As the dispute escalated, they attacked Dahal. According to police, the group of 7 people including Dhan Bahadur attacked him with Khukuri. Dahal sustained a serious head injury from the attack and died while being taken to the hospital. The body has been kept at Koshi Hospital, Biratnagar for postmortem. Nanu Limbu and Kamal Thapa were also injured in the incident. According to police, Limbu sustained injuries in her right hand. Police have arrested 25-year-old Ajay Shrestha of Budhiganga-7 and 24-year-old Kamal Thapa of Dhankuta-4 for investigation after the incident.
