Businessmen stage protest against organizing a fair (Mahostav) in Dang

Businessmen staged a protest on December 3 against the upcoming fair (Mahostav) in Tulsipur. The Tulsipur Chamber of Commerce and Industry has also expressed solidarity with the protest led by the Fancy Businessmen's Association.  Niru Basnet, a businesswoman, said that the festival was not relevant as the third variant of the corona pandemic, the Omicron virus, was spreading and that the fair was against the rights of local traders.

Chandra-Surya Transport Company in Tulsipur is going to organize the 'First Provincial Fair' i in Tulsipur-6 Baruwagaun from December 9 to 15.  Similarly, the Tulsipur Chamber of Commerce, a trade association affiliated with the CPN-UML, is preparing to hold the fair in Tulsipur from December 16 to 27.

They have been saying that everyone has the right to hold the festival and the scheduled program will not be stopped. Most of the businessmen are demanding that the fairs be stopped. The protest started at the office of the Nepal Chamber of Commerce and Industry and ended at the Tulsipur Sub-Metropolitan Office.
