A taxi driver was stabbed with a knife at Kathmandu Metropolitan-13 Chhauni on the night of December 17. Bikas Saraw, a 19-year-old resident of Kaliya Bara, charged the knife towards 38-year-old taxi driver Krishna Bahadur Lama, from Roshi rural municipality-kavrepalanchowk inside the taxi with the number-plate Ba 1 Ja 1446. The injured taxi driver was rescued immediately by Metropolitan Police Circle-Swoyambhu and taken to Manmohan Memorial Hospital, and later referred to Trauma Center for further treatment. Police arrested the accused with the knife, who was also a passenger in the same taxi.
