Cadre of CPN (Maoist Center) injured in an attack from unidentified men in Sunsari

Sahwaj Ansari, ward secretary, chairperson of YCL, and member of the secretariat of CPN (Maoist Center) Harinagar rural municipality-1 of Sunsari stated that he was physically assaulted by two men who were riding a motorcycle bearing an Indian number plate on May 8. According to Ansari, he was attacked near Primary Health Center at Harinagar-2 on the way to the house of Tufel Ahmed Ansari, candidate for the post of chairperson of ward 2 of Harinagar Municipality. Ansari sustained injury on his eye in the incident.
