Agitated students of Thakurram Multiple Campus in Birgunj, Parsa resorted to vandalism and arson on July 15 after their exam centers were assigned outside of Birgunj. According to the police, the students torched the table, chair, bench, and sofa of the principal's office and the fire was controlled later.
Police further added that the demonstrators chanted slogans in a group of 50/60 students against the campus chief. After the three-year B.Ed examination center of Thakurram Multiple Campus was scheduled at Janjyoti Multiple Campus in Lalbandi, Sarlahi, and the four-year BEd exam was scheduled at Ramraja Shah Multiple Campus in Kalaiya, Bara, the students vandalized and torched the college's property.
