Youth Congress affiliated to Nepali Congress staged a demonstration against the re-appointment of Janardan Sharma in the post of finance minister on August 1 in front of parliament house in Baneshwor Kathmandu-34. The demonstrators were agitated citing that Sharma who ran into controversy during the preparation of budget while finance minister earlier was re-appointed in the same ministry. Around 25 of the demonstrators were arrested during the demonstration. The demonstrators also displayed placards against CPN-UML. The demonstrators alleged that Sharma's re-appointment displayed corrupt collusion between the government and the opposition.
