24-year-old Sunil Bali  the ward chairperson of Shantinagar rural municipality-2 allegedly assaulted 39-year-old Pramod Basnet  Chairperson of Shantinagar rural municipality and 40-year-old Dilli Raj Khadka  chief administrative officer on March 3 in their respective offices. The victim's side lodged the complaint on March 4 alleging that the accused tried to physically assault them and verbally abused them by vandalizing the public property.

The victims alleged that the accused pressured them to give the tender to his people after a contract for mining in Shantinagar-2 Boulah Khola Bishnapur Ghat after the rural municipality had awarded the contract through e-bidding.
