Binod Prasad Sah 49-year-old man of Nagarain municipality-8 lodged the complaint against his daughter's husband 32-year-old Motibabu Sah, father-in-law a 70-year-old Madanmohan Sah, mother-in-law 55-year-old Renu Devi Sah, brother-in-law 27-year-old Rabi Sah of Janakpurdham sub-metropolitan city-9 Thapa chok in Dhanusha on May 22, accusing them of murdering his daughter 22-year-old Aarati Kumari Sah for not bringing enough dowry. According to Sah, the accused used to physically and mentally torment his daughter demanding her to bring more dowry. He also stated that he used to send money to his daughter to fulfill their demands. According to DSP Gautam, it can be revealed only after postmortem report is received whether Aarati had committed suicide or was murdered. He told that the police is doing a detailed investigation for this.
