Police have arrested Ram Prasad Adhikari of Phujel VDC-7 in Gorkha from Kathmandu in connection with the killing of Krishna Prasad Adhikari of same place. According to sources, a police team led by Inspector Rugam Bahadur Kunwar of the District Police Office Chitwan arrested Ram Prasad from Balaju on December 21. Though police had arrested the accused earlier, the court had released them citing lack of evidences. The district court had released Parshu Ram Adhikari, Chhabilal Paudel, Bhimsen Paudel and others on bail after remanding them in custody for 25 days. Nur Prasad, brother of the deceased Krishna Prasad had filed a murder case against 11 persons. Nanda Prasad, father of Krishna Prasad had died three months ago while staging fast-unto-death demanding action against the murderers of his son while his wife is undergoing treatment at Bir Hospital.
