The representatives of several civil society organizations have organized a rally surrounding the CA building on January 8. The rally was organized by Campaign on Citizenship in the Name of Mother and attended by INSEC, FWLD, Maiti Nepal, CWIN,Shakti Samuha, WOREC among others. They demanded that the citizenship should be distributed in mother's name too. Meanwhile, a letter informing the Speaker Subash Nembang of a website that was launched on January 8 to publish these issues was handed over to him at the hands of a victim of citizenship provision in Nepal. The campaign was organized in 18 districts and five countries like the US, the UK, Canada and India.
