Police have arrested Bikram Rai, 21, of Shanibare in Beltarbasaha Municipality-10 on February 5 on the charge of raping a 13-year-old girl. Inspector Rajendra Parajuli said that a team headed from Area Police Office, Beltar arrested at the house of his neighbour who was in hiding thereafter allegedly raping the girl. The family of the girl reported that he had raped the girl around 7.30 pm on February 5 as she was heading home. The family filed an FIR at APO Beltar on February 6. Medical checkup of the girl has been conducted at District Hospital, Bokse on February 6. District Court has granted time for his custody for investigation on the same day.
