A complaint has been filed against four youths of Angna VDC-4 on February 7 on the charge of abducting a 16-year-old girl and holding her hostage. The accused were identified as Jeevan Khatri, 20, Sanjay Limbu, 19, Prakash Limbu, 21, and one whose name could not be known. The girl’s relatives filed the complaint which says that the girl was returning home from the schools when the group carried her to Jeevan’s home saying she had to marry him. Police with the help of locals rescued the girl after learning about the incident. DSP Deepak Pokharel said that a charge of abduction and hostage-taking would be pressed against them adding that the police were searching for absconding youths.
