Police have arrested guardian of a 15-year-old girl after a complaint of child marriage case was filed against him on 24 February 2015. In a complaint filed at the district police office, Chandra Bahadur Khatri of Ekatin VDC-4 was alleged of marrying away the young girl in his care to 25-year-old Mohan Thapaliya of Iwa VDC-9 in Terhathum on 11 December 2014. According to DSP Dikap Pokhrel, the accused has been remanded in custody for further investigation.
