Police arrested 37-year-old Dil Bahadur Thapa of Magyam Chisapani VDC-9 on April 1 on the charges of attempted rape an 8-year-old girl. The girl’s family filed a complaint against him at the police station on March 31 accusing him of molesting her at his home on March 26 and trying to rape her. The medical checkup of the girl was done at District Hospital. DSP Raj Kumar Baidawar said that a case of attempt to rape has been filed against Thapa.
