Police on Wednesday night arrested a man with possession of armed weapons from Pyangche, Raksirang-8 of Makwanpur district. The Area Police Office, Manahari identified the suspect as Gunraj Syangden (34) of Churidanda, Raksirang-8 of the district. Police have confiscated a pistol, 18 rounds of bullets and a khukuri from his possession.

Police, however, informed that two persons fled the scene. The on the run suspects have been identified as Mausam Thing and Manab Syangden, Police Inspector Mohan Adhikari informed. After the Area Police Office, Manahari received a complaint of theft in a house in Manahari, police swung into action and managed to nab Gunraj with the armed weapons, Adhikari informed. Police said that they have started a manhunt to detain the absconding culprits. Further investigation into the incident is underway.
