Priest of Ram-Janaki temple in Sirsiya, Birgunj-28 has been arrested by the police for allegedly raping a 6-year-old minor girl. 45-year-old Manak Bhagat Mali who hails from Badaki Fulbariya-6 in Bara was handed over to the police by villagers saying that he raped the minor on Sunday afternoon. The incident came to light when the minor victim escaped from the hands of the priest and narrated everything to her parents. Both the priest and the victim have undergone medical check-up. According to police the accused priest has confessed his crime. He is being held in custody for further investigation.
