Cadres of Netra Bikram Chand -led CPN Maoist has burnt the copies of the draft of the new constitution in Dang district. The arson took place when discussions on the preliminary draft were underway at Tulsipur and Gorahi in the district. Cadres of the party burnt and tore the draft copies at Damargaun in Tulsipur and Rapti Super Lodge in Gorahi. The party's district Secretary Bal Bahadur Oli informed that they will burn the copies of the draft and obstruct the opinion collection as the party has decided to obstruct the campaign. Dang DSP Ranjit Singh Rathaur said that anyone obstructing the opinion collection campaign and burning copies of the draft will be booked for further action. Dang CDO Loknath Paudyal said that a large number of security personnel have been deployed in the district to make the opinion collection campaign a successful one.
