Police arrested one Indian youth on charge of human trafficking. The accused had lured the woman with her two children with the promise to make her a heroine in Indian films and pay for her children's education. The women and her children were rescued from Birgunj by an organization called KI Nepal. After the trafficker had succeeded in fleeing the scene, he was later arrested from Kathmandu on July 24.
