Banke has been shut down by different Hindu nationalist associations demanding of Hindu state and lives in Banke has been affected by it. The strike had been called in Banke with three-point demand of Hinduist Associations. Industries, factories and educational institutions remain closed due to strike and local transportation has been halted. A large number of police officers have been mobilized to prevent any unpleasant events.
