The District Administration Office, Kailali has relaxed the time of the curfew in Dhangadi and Tikapur. As a result, public life has eased to some extent. The daily hustle and bustle of public life are slowly returning both in Dhangadi and Tikapur. The curfew time has been decreased by four hours in Dhangadi while the morning curfew in Tikapur has been lifted. Curfew in Dhangadi has been limited to 12:00 to 4:00 pm while it has been relaxed from 7:00 to 11:00 am in Tikapur. Tikapur was under a 24-hour curfew enforced since the unfortunate incident of August 24 when seven police personnel and a toddler were killed.
