The District Administration Office, Mahottari has re-issued the indefinite curfew orders that were lifted in Balawa and Banauta areas including Jaleshwar for three hours on Friday. The prohibitory orders were issued for an unspecified time beginning 8 am on Wednesday. The curfew had been removed from 6 to 9 am today, said the Chief District Officer Deepak Kafle. He said the order has been lifted for people to buy daily essentials as well as to carry out the daily rituals. The local administration imposed curfew in view of the escalating violence following the death of three protesters in police firing on Wednesday.
