The District Administration Office of Rukuma has lifted prohibitory order in the district from September 23. The local administration had imposed prohibitory order in the district since August 23 after protests demanding undivided Rukum turned violent. Chief District Office Antar Bahadur Silwal said that the restriction was removed after sitution was turning to normal. Locals of Rukum have said that they are continuting their protest for undivided Rukum and that the district be kept in Province no. 5.
