Four VDC offices and two police posts torched in Kailali

The office of Tulsipur VDC in Kailali has been torched by unidentified men on Monday night. Until now no one has taken responsibility for the arson in the VDC office. Furniture and official documents have been burnt to ash due to the arson. Incidents of arson in the VDC offices and police stations in Kailali have been rising ever since the disastrous incident in Tikapur on August 24 in which 7 policemen and a minor were killed. Only a few days ago unidentified men had set fire to the Chhotkai Paliya police station in Ratnapur VDC, Ganjuwa police station, Offices of Pahalmanpur, Bouniya VDC and Dhansinghpur VDC in Kailali.
