The Area Police Office, Kakadvitta, arrested a local Punya Upreti on the charge of his involvement in black marketing of the Trishakti brand of cooking gas at Kakadvitta in Jhapa district on Tuesday. Upreti was arrested while he was selling a cylinder of cooking gas at Rs 6,000 to locals, said police. Police confiscated 97 cylinders of cooking gas from Upreti's store and investigation into the case was underway, said Deputy Superintendent of Police, Shyam Adhikari.
