A woman from Priti VDC-8 in Ramechhap has been seriously injured after being attacked with a knife by her husband on Thursday night. According to local Man Bahadur Khatri, 24-year-old Sushila Tamang was stabbed in the face and different parts of her body by her husband, Tulsiram Khanal during a dispute. Sushila's in-laws fled to police station at Priti vdc to save themselves and report the incident to police right on thursday night. When the in-laws came back on Friday morning with police they found that Sushila was lying unconscious with different wound marks on her face and her 14-month-old daughter was crying beside her. The unconscious victim was sent to a local health-post for treatment. Meanwhile, police arrested the attacker on Friday afternoon and are further investigating into the incident.
