A demonstration was organized in Biratnagar by the Greater Civil Society advocating for the integrity of the province No 1 provided by the new constitution. The demonstration began from a local Janaandolan Chowk went to the main market places of the city and submitted a memorandum to the Office of the Prime Minister through the District Administration Office, Morang. Through the memorandum, the Society has demanded the totality of the present Morang and Sunsari districts. Argued in the memorandum was if these two districts were split, it would baldy hurt the geographical, ethnic, lingual and cultural balance of the region hampering the development.
