Four Nepalis were injured after Indian Sima Surakchya Bal (SSB) opened fire at locals here in Haripur of the district on Wednesday morning. The injured have been identified as Ashok Yadav, Manoj Yadav, Naresh Yadav and Saroj Yadav of Haripur-7. The injured are undergoing treatment at BP Koirala Helath Science Academy, Dharan. SSB shot at them at around 6 am today following a squabble with locals as they were smuggling the chemical fertilizers from India. Following the squabble of SSB with the smugglers, locals had also gathered at the incident area. Sanjaya Sharma, Superintendent of Police (SP) at Sunsari district police office also confimed the incident.
