INSEC Documentation Facilitates Relief for Victim's Family

The family of Manoj Bogati and Chandra Bogati of Bhulgaon in DasharathchandN.P.2 has received Rs 200,000 on July 9 on the basis of INSEC documentation.

 

The siblings, aged 14 and 12 respectively, were abducted by the Maoists on July 24, 2002 for indoctrination from their school. They remained disappeared since then.

 

The family was facing difficulties in claiming the interim relief because they had moved to Jogbuda in Jogbudha1 of Dadeldhura from Baitadi in 2001.

 

The children’s father Ram Prasad Bogati said that they could get the money only today after confirmation by the INSEC.

 

Local Peace Committee of Baitadi had recommended the family for relief to Ministry of Peace and Reconstruction on the basis of INSEC information as information maintained by other organizations were found unreliable. A total of 28 families have got relief thanks to INSEC documentation, LPC Baitadi chief Bhim Bahadur Chand said.

 

The victims’ mother Tulasi said earlier they had no idea where to approach to receive approach but with INSEC documentation, it was quite easy to get the interim relief. <
