Na 5 Kha 1665, that was being escorted by police personnel along the East-West Highway, lost control as it tried to overtake another vehicle at a narrow section of the road and overturned at 5 am this morning, informed Saptari Police DSP Narayan Chimoriya. We apologise for publishing the news report incautiously with wrong information from the source. ____________ Two people were killed and more than two dozen people were injured in a road accident when a bus turned over at Koshi Barrage-Bhardaha Chowk, Bhardaha VDC road section. According to initial information, the incident took place after protesters pelted stone on the bus. One of the deceased is a 09-year-old girl from Tulsipur Municipality-7, Dang district. The other person deceased in the accident is not yet identified. ------------------------------------- Two people died while nine others were injured in a bus accident here at Bharadaha VDC in the district on Friday morning. According to the Area Police Office, Bhardaha, one of the deceased has been identified as nine-year-old Nirjala Basnet of Dhanusha, Tulsipur-7, whereas the identity of the other, has yet to be ascertained. However, police have recovered an ATM card named Jivan Kumar from the incident site. The incident took place after a commuter bus, Na 5 Kha 1664, heading toward Kakarvitta from Sindhuli, turned turtle after the driver lost control over the wheels. All the injured are undergoing treatment at Dharan-based B.P. Koirala Institute of Health Sciences.
