Assistant officer of Jajarkot, Lal Babu Jha, was caught red-handed while taking bribe on Sunday by Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA). A team of CIAA Mid-Western Regional Office in Surkhet found Jha red-handed accepting a bribe of Rs 48,000 from a service seeker during a raid at the District Forest Office. He was taking the bribe with a promise to make recommendation for Initial Environmental Evaluation (IEE) and to issue a release documents for forest products.
