Madhesi cadres have set fire to two bricks-loaded trucks at Garuda Bazaar in the district on Monday night. The two trucks – Na 4 Kha 4605 and Na 5 Kha 1670 - came under attack at Methur Chowk of Garuda-2 while they were heading to Pokhara carrying bricks from MBI Bricks Industry. The arson attack has completely destroyed the engine of both the trucks. "The Madhesi cadres took the Pokhara-bound trucks, belonging to bricks entrepreneur Ramjodhi Sah, under control and set them on fire," said Garuda Police Inspector Santulal Jaiswar. According to police a gang of 15-20 Madhesi cadres carried out the arson attack at 11 pm yesterday. The police had reached the incident site immediately after the arson attack and are now investigating into the case.
