Jhapa police have made public three persons who were held on the charge of abduction and human trafficking in the district on Wednesday. The accused have been identified as 18-year-old Manish Karki of Itahari municipality, Sunsari, 23-year-old Deepak Rishidev, 23 of Babiyabirta, Morang, and 23-year-od Deepak Karkiof Lalitpur sub-metropolitan city. According to the Area Police Office Birtamod, they were held on the charge of detaining a young girl at Oasis hotel and lodge at Shani Arjun of the district. The girl was rescued by police. One of the accused Manish is the operator of the hotel. DSP Khadga Bahadur Khatri of area police office said that they would file human trafficking charge against the trio.
