Cadres of SLMM have obstructed CA members from entering 15 VDCs in Morang to campaign in favor of the new constitution. A leader of SLMM - Raj Kumar Yadav said that they would not allow the government to launch the campaign program in Rangeli, Majhare, Buddhanagar, Bathigachchh, Pokhariya, Katahari, Siswanijahada, Nocha VDC among others. VDC secretaries of these districts have informed the District Development Committees about their inability to conduct the campaign program in the absence of CA members. SLMM has announced that they would not obstruct the distribution of copies of the constitution if the CA members agreed not to participate in the campaign. Nepali congress CA member Amrit Aryal said that they have been successful in conducting the campaigns in most places of constituency 5 of Morang district.
