Cadres of SLMM have vandalized the houses of two CPN-UML cadres in Rangeli Bazar on Wednesday night. Rangeli Bazar had remained tense throughout Wednesday afternoon due to the clash between cadres of SLMM and Youth Federation which planned to organize a program to felicitate the prime minister in Rangeli on Thursday. The SLMM cadres staged demonstration and enforced banda in Rangeli against the same program. Some SLMM cadres were injured when the police intervened in the demonstration on Wednesday evening. According Inspector Abhichandra Rijal of Area Police Offfice Rangeli, the SLMM cadres pelted stones at the house of local CPN-UML Leader Manoj Agrawal on Wednesday night. Window panes of the house broke due to the attack. Similarly the SLMM cadres also vandalized the tent and broke plastic chairs at the house of Dinesh Thakur. Meanwhile, Youth federation has shifted the venue of it's program slated today from compound of Nepal Bank to a site near Area Police Office. SLMM cadres have vowed to disrupt the program.
