Gaurimaya Ghimire (Regmi), Technical Officer (T4 Level) of Agricultural Research Council has been arrested by police for corruption. Gaurimaya had been on the run since Special Court found her guilty of taking bribe from five people in the pretext of getting them recruited in T4 level in the Council. She was arrested from Singhadurbar by team deployed by Central Investigation Bureau. The Special court had slapped her 3 months jail sentence and 3 lakhs 17 thousand rupees fine after finding her guilty of the charge. She was since, on the run. Police informed that after her arrest, she has been presented before Kathmandu District Court prison office for implementation her sentence. कृषि अनुसन्धान परिषदमा प्राविधिक सहायक टी-४ तहमा कार्यरत गौरीमाया घिमिरे (रेग्मी)लाई प्रहरीले पक्रेको छ। परिषदमा सहायक टी- ४ पदपूर्तिमा जागिर मिलाइदिन्छु भनेर पाँच जनासँग घुस लिएको विशेष अदालतले ठहर गरेपछि फरार रहेकी उनलाई प्रहरीले सिंहदरबारभित्रैबाट पक्रेको हो। केन्द्रीय अनुसन्धान ब्युरोबाट खटिएको टोलीले उनलाई समातेको हो। विशेष अदालतले ६ महिना कैद र ३ लाख ९७ हजार रुपैयाँ जरिवाना ठहर गरेको थियो उनीविरुद्ध। काठमाडौं मनमैजु ९ की उनलाई समातेपछि फैसला कार्यान्वयनका लागि काठमाडौं जिल्ला अदालतमा पेश गरिएको प्रहरीले जनाएको छ। जिल्ला अदालतको कारागार कार्यालय, जगन्नाथदेवल पठाएको छ।
