Madhesi Front stages sit-in demanding release of cadre arrested on murder charge

Madhesi Front, Saptari has started an indefinite sit-in in District Administration Office since January 27 demanding charges to be dropped against 32-year-old Ashok Kumar Yadav, a resident of Jhutaki VDC-7, who was arrested in accusation of killing ASI Ramesh Subba. The activities of District Administration Office were affected after the cadres of the Front started chanting slogans and staged a sit-in in front of the entrance starting at noon. The demonstrators who participated in the sit-in claimed that Yadav is falsely convicted of killing and stated that protest would continue until justice is served.
