A junior police has been arrested on charge being involved in the gang rape of a woman in Rautahat district. Prashant Chaudhary, a police constable stationed in Nuwakot district, was taken into custody on Sunday on the charge of raping a woman in Rautahat on January 15. A resident of Chandrapur municipality, Chaudhary allegedly raped the woman along along with one another man at jungle in Chandrapur. Chaudhary had come home on leave.
