City Safari driver and passenger atacked in Dharan

A driver and passengers of City Safari(electric rickshaw) have been seriously injured after the dispute between tempo and City Safari (electric rickshaw) escalated. Driver Shiva Kumar Rai was attacked while taking his relative, Desh Kumar Rai home from B.P. Koirala Institute of Health Sciences. Both have been seriously injured from the attack. Safari drivers have accused Tempo Association of hiring local goons to threaten and attack Safari drivers. Both driver and the passenger became unconscious after three men attacked them with stones. The driver has sustained injuries in his head, face and different parts of the body, while the passenger has injuries in eye and head. The incident occurred in front of the entrance of BP Koirala Institue at noon on Monday. City Safari(electric rickshaw) and Tempo operators in Dharan are in long-running dispute over whether City Safari(electric rickshaw) can operate in Dharan.
