The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) on Tuesday filed separate cases at the Special Court against three police personnel, who were accused of receiving bribery from citizens. The anti-corruption constitutional body today filed the case against DSP Dayanidhi Gyawali, Inspector Ramesh Bahadur Singh and Sub-Inspector Lal Mani Pandey. While the Commission sought to impose a fine of Rs 150,000 on Pandey; Gyawali and Singh would pay Rs 300,000 fine if convicted.
