The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority on Tuesday filed a corruption case at the Special Court against a Section Officer of the Department of Foreign Employment. Earlier, Uttam Prasad Kharel was arrested with Rs 100,000 bribe money. The anti-corruption constitutional body said Kharel had assured a person, who was currently in police custody for investigation into a foreign employment fraud case, that he would help him get released by settling the issue. Claiming that Kharel acted against Section 3.1 of the Prevention of Corruption Act 2002, the Commission has sought action against him as per Sections 3.1 and 3.1(c)of the same Act. अख्तियार दुरुपयोग अनुसन्धान आयोगले वैदेशिक रोजगार विभागका तत्कालिन शाखा अधिकृत उत्तमप्रसाद खरेलविरुद्ध भ्रष्टाचारको मुद्दा दायर गरेको छ । वैदेशिक रोजगार सम्बन्धी विवादमा अनुसन्धानका लागि थुनामा रहेका व्यक्तिलाई छुटाइदिने भन्दै एक लाख रुपैयाँ घुस लिइरहेका बेला पक्राउ परेका खरेललाई विशेष अदालतमा मुद्दा दायर गरिएको अख्तियारले जनाएको छ ।
