Teen arrested on the charges of killing her mother-in-law in Western Rukum

18-year-old Sunita Khatri, a resident of Magma-5 was arrested for killing her 72-year-old mother-in-law, Bishnu Kumari Khatri.
According to the District Police Office, the incident occurred on the evening of April 17 during a domestic dispute. Sunita's husband was in Saudi Arabia for 2 years for employment.
According to Sub-Inspector Rupesh Khadka, the accused has confessed of strangling her mother-in-law after she beat her with metal tongs.
District Court, Rukum has remanded Khatri in custody for ten days for investigation.
