Police have arrested Sekh Irfan, 23, of Gamhariya Parsa VDC-3, on the charge of polygamy. His wife Rewina Nesa, 20, filed a complaint against him. According to the inspector of local police station Garuda, Keshav Regmi, the victim filed a police complaint at the station on April 20. Although she was still married to Irfan, he married another girl, Sasira Khatun, 20, of Bisrampur VDC-2. Rewina and Irfan had married under their contemporary tradition in 2011. They also have a three months old son. However, according to the victim, Irfan married Sisira on April 12.
