Police have arrested a 50-year-old man on Tuesday on the charge of raping a 20-year-old woman. Police arrested the man on the basis of a complaint filed by the victim at District Police Office on the same day accusing the arrested and another youth aged 18-year-old of raping her, informed inspector Suraj Khadka of DPO. The other accused in the incident is currently on the run. He also informed that police were preparing to send the victim for medical examination on Wednesday. The victim was reportedly held hostage by the two accused men after raping her on April 2, 2016. She successfully escaped from their clutches on Tuesday and lodged a complaint at DPO in Rajbiraj.
