The Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) has arrested two forest officials with bribe from Kailali district. A team of anti-graft body arrested assistant forest officer Raj Kumar Malla of Forest Office, Balchaur and Baburam Mijar, ranger of Area Forest Office, Jagatpur, with 76,500 bribe, the CIAA, regional liaison officer Bishnu Singh Bista told Republica Online. According to a source, the forest officials had demanded Rs 150,000 bribe for stitching on the wood of a cotton tree in Narayanpur. "Assistant Forest Officer and Ranger were caught while they were taking bribe on Monday," said spokesperson Bista. The arrested officials have been taken to CIAA regional liaison office, Mahendranagar, for further investigation, said Bista. अख्तियार दुरुपयोग अनुसन्धान आयोगको टोलीले घाट गद्दी गरिएको काठ बिमार्का(टाँचा) गर्दा घुस लिइएको भन्दै कैलालीमा दुई जना वन कर्मचारीलाई सोमबार पक्राउ गरेको छ । सेक्टर वन कार्यालय बलचौर (कैलाली)का सहायक वन अधिकृत राजकुमार मल्ल र इलाका वन कार्यालय टीकापुरका रेञ्जर बाबुराम मिजारलाई घुस लिइरहेको अवस्थामा रङ्गेहात पक्राउ गरिएको आयोगको क्षेत्रीय कार्यालयका निमित्त प्रमुख विष्णुसिंह विष्टले बताए । कैलालीको नारायणपुर गाविसको बैदी भन्ने ठाउँमा घाट गद्दी गरिएको एक हजार ७०० क्युफिट सिमलको काठमा बिमार्का गरिदिएबापत काठ खरिद गर्नेबाट रु ७६ हजार ५०० घुस लिइरहेको अवस्थामा निजहरुलाई रकमसहित पक्राउ गरिएको विष्टले बताए । आयोगको महेन्द्रनगर र कोहलपुरस्थित कार्यालयको संयुक्त टोलीले निजहरुलाई घटनास्थलमा पक्राउ गरेको हो ।
