Police arrested a youth for illegal possession of a pistol and bullet from Mirchaiya-5 municipality of Siraha today. The arrested has been identified as Arun Kumar Yadav, 19, of the same place. Police arrested Yadav on the basis of a special tip-off that he was carrying a weapon. According to DSP Shyam Chaudhari of Mirchaiya police, the arrested was found hiding a pistol and two rounds of bullets under the seat of motorcycle bearing plate number Se 3 Pa 8475. He will be tried under the Arms and Ammunition Act, informed the police.
